KBC Securities in Hungary

In autumn 2006, KBC Securities opened the branch office here in Budapest. We quickly became the leading investment service provider in Hungary, with a 21% market share. We offer to our clients – from individuals to institutional investors – the full set of investment services that combines equity research, sales and trading, securities services and corporate finance.

In spring 2007, we strengthened our presence in Hungary by acquiring a leading online brokerage house. Today KBC Equitas Plc operates PETI, the electronic trading platform for retail clients, and its web based version, WebBroker.
